Zurich, Switzerland — A new drinkable meal replacement that is sure to shake up the slow food scene will soon hit the market. FOOCH (a combination of food and CH, the symbol for the nation of Switzerland where the idea was born) is made with 100 percent organic ingredients, doesn’t contain any lactose, gluten, soy, or nuts besides coconut. It’s packed with superfoods and unlike its chalky, sludgy counterparts, it actually tastes good — slightly sweet with an herbal-fruity oat taste that is topped off with a light note of vanilla, to be more precise.
In a matter of seconds, a pre-measured packet of FOOCH combined with water in the FOOCH Shaker, transforms into a perfectly balanced meal that provides five hours of satiation. This master blend contains the exact proportions of lean proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates needed to fuel the body and keep energy levels up. Ingredients like whole grain oats, spinach, and baobab provide a rich dose of vitamins and minerals. What’s more, to kick its nutritional content up a notch, a variety of superfoods like acai, kale, and tiger nuts were added along with (in line with its name’s sake) an assortment of Swiss Alpine herbs and flowers.

About the FOOCH Team
FOOCH was founded by Johannes Ritter and Peter Jung. The two lead very active lives and realized that they had little time to maintain a healthy diet. The idea for FOOCH was born out of the need for a fully-balanced meal that was quick and easy to take on-the-go. For two years they worked with nutritionists and food engineers to ensure FOOCH had the perfect amount of lean proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates. After the great feedback they’ve gotten from the FOOCH they produced in small batches, they decided to take FOOCH to the next level by going into mass production. FOOCH will hit the market this fall.
