“Development process took months and several functional prototypes were made to get to Wiggly’s current design. It had to be sturdy enough to accept a range of different cameras and small enough to fit in one hand” – says Ivan. Key design requirement was to make Wiggly as easy to use as a flashlight. No experience is necessary and there are absolutely no external sensors or wires.

The device weighs under a pound and can freely rotate at least 720 degrees (two full circles around each axis. It has a convenient thumb joystick interface that allows the user to control camera pitch. Whatever pitch angle the camera is set to it holds position regardless of the movement of the handle. Wiggly also comes with an optional low/high mode extension handle that enables smooth camera motion from low to high position while maintaining perfect balance. Extension handle has another thumb-joystick that automatically takes over once the handle is attached.

You can even mount Wiggly with your smartphone or action camera to a wirelessly controlled multi-rotor (UAV or drone) to film incredible aerial footage.
“My team and I have big plans for Wiggly, from continuing to design brackets for different popular smartphones and compact cameras, to developing product extensions under the Wiggly brand.”
