Knowing both captains are vying for the title of Governor of the free Republic of pirates it is clear that the pirate code will not be honored today. The Private, a conquered British flagship, and El Bueno, a captured Spanish frigate, both raise the Jolly Roger; they will show no mercy. As the waves grow restless, the circling seagulls are waiting patiently for the inevitable first shot.’
In a game of Turning Tides two players take the helm of a captured pirate ship, as they duke it out in open waters. As you play, you will have to make a good guess about every next move your enemy might make, whilst simultaneously managing your own ship and trying to sink the enemy. With a deck of cards that requires strategic planning, and a moving playboard that can completely change the course of the game in an instant, it is not only your enemy that will keep you on your toes. Although keeping a constant eye on the opposition and their capabilities, might be worth considering before it is your ship that finds itself at the bottom of the sea. Experience interaction and strategy like you have never before in a two player board game.

The campaign will run until Wednesday, November 10th 2021 in which time we will try to reach our goal of EUR 10.000.
