LOS ANGELES, 27 July 2013 – British Actor Cameron Moir has launched a Kickstarter campaign for his new Web Series Englishman In L.A featuring the American actor Eddie Jemison from Ocean’s 11,12,13 and HBO’S HUNG. Cameron aims to raise $5000 by 1 September through donations on Kickstarter in order to make the first Season this August, which will be shot in different locations around Los Angles.

Englishman In L.A is a Comedy Web Series about a well mannered British author has been given a reality show following his career in L.A but can he hack the Hollywood grind?
est selling British author Tom Dingle (Cameron Moir) has been given a reality show following his move to Los Angeles. Tom immediately meets his L.A agent Cassidy Clark AKA CCA who insists that he gets a new Image, a Publicist, a Life Coach, Fabulous Stylist and Meat-Head Trainer.
His mentor William Wily (Eddie Jemison) who immediately resents the fact Tom is doing so well insists he sees his therapist.
Tom meets larger than life L.A stereotypes and is constantly forced to do things he doesn’t want to do i.e his Life Coach Mother Sunshine makes him squawk like Bald Eagle to empower himself and his Publicist makes him walk the red carpet with a Russian Model he’s never met.
Just as Tom feels he can’t relate to anyone in L.A he meets a beautiful girl named Sammy Roy (Joanna Janetakis) at his book signing and she ask him on date which he happily accepts. A few days later Tom has his therapy appointment which William set up and guess who it turns out to be? Yes it’s Sammy and we start to question if she is interested in Tom or his success?
Will Tom stay the sweet modest man that he is or will his ego explode with the fame & fortune that is presented to him?
Cameron Moir and Cassandra Clark (Director) met in San Francisco while filming The Final Duel in which they played fencers in a tumultuous relationship. After filming they stayed good friends, Cassandra was on the West coast & Cameron was on the East, they were serendipitously re-united in 2013 at worksop in L.A. Since then they have been collaborating on an Englishman In L.A. Cameron and Cassandra are extremely passionate about their the series and creating a strong foundation for it’s success.
Cameron Moir started writing at young age, his debut was at Theatre 80 where he staged his first self written play Class A in New York. He is a founding member of Character’s Ink formally known as the Playwright’s Roundtable (NYC) & has been workshopping his new play Beast which is to be staged at The Cherry Lane Theatre New York. Cameron has now focused his shift to writing screen plays and is currently writing the 2nd Season for Englishman In L.A. (See Full Bio below).
Cassandra Clark has been working in film production in the Bay Area & now resides in Los Angeles as a director/Actress and currently working as an Associate Producer for an A-List Comedy motion picture to shoot in the spring. She studied theater/film acting at credited programs such City Academy in the UK and A.C.T in San Francisco with a bachelor degree in Advertisement. She is a competitive International Ballroom and Latin dancer with also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
