This Limited Edition deck of 54 playing cards is derived from such Poe classics as “The Masque of the Red Death”, “Murders on the Rue Morgue”, “The Tell-Tale Heart”, and “The Black Cat” as well as some of his more obscure works that true Poe fans will immediately recognize such as “Hop-Frog”, “The Gold Bug”, “The Oval Portrait”, and “Berenice”.
Our Kickstarter campaign for a fine deck of playing cards inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe awaits your approval. The Aces, Face Cards and Jokers are based on different characters from Poe’s stories and Poems for a total of 18 illustrated cards. The deck will be printed by USPCC and feature the Bicycle Brand. The cards will be in magnificent full color.

Born and raised on the mean streets of Savannah, GA, card designer and artist David Edgerly now lives in Austin, TX with his family and a cadre of lively pets. Dave has been an artist most of his life, even working for Disney in Orlando, FL for a number of years. Dave is a freelance artist in huge demand in the movie, television, and commercial fields. Dave met his fellow contributors James Poole and Ron Woods almost 25 years ago and have been great friends since. Together, they have contrived an absolutely exquisite deck of premium playing cards featuring the world renowned Bicycle Brand.
This deck will only have one print run, so it is destined to become a collector’s item and a definite must have for any fan of the great Edgar Allan Poe or any true connoisseur of fine playing cards.
