A new project has just launched on kickstarter for an innovation on Trading Card Games. eCounters are small digital counters that replace dice during the game, making it easier and more convenient to deal with the ever changing values of certain cards. There are two types of eCounters, single and double. The double eCounter can function as a power/toughness token on creatures.
Additionally the project features an eCounter Avatar, a statuette that holds a single eCounter as life counter. The statuette is of a Dragon, small enough to fit in a standard deck box for optimal mobility. There is a special edition of the Dragon Avatar which is only available to the funders of the kickstarter project.
The project is initiated by two TCG players who simply got annoyed with the overuse of the D20s. Based in the Netherlands, Gamershook is a new company specifically set up for this project.
