Los Angeles, CA — Creator Caspian Darke (Talyn – Seed of Darkness, The Nightlings), writer Geoffrey Vincent (Talyn – Seed of Darkness) & concept artist Ainsworth Lin release HOUSE OF DREAMS, a family fun YA dark fantasy adventure inspired by eighties fantasy films like Little Monsters & Neverending Story and modern spooky animation series like Coraline or Paranorman.

HOUSE OF DREAMS is about a lonely twelve-year-old boy who loses his best friend, his aunt. The pain of this event sparks a journey to the House of Dreams. In this House, his wishes come true. He has a blast with his new friends. But he only later finds that not all is not what it seems in the House and sometimes wishing comes at a price.

The House of Dreams offers an opportunity for parents to explore and discuss more serious issues such as death, mourning, and loneliness with their children, through the experience of a thrilling adventure for the entire family.

“Many children are exposed to subtle forms of trauma in their early years,” Caspian Darke states. “From divorce to losing loved ones in death, these events shape their future health, mental well-being, and overall development all the way to adulthood, and in many cases destroys their innocence in the process.”

“Really The House of Dreams is for children who experience troubling obstacles,” Geoffrey Vincent states. He continues: “So many of us ask the question of how do you search for an escape as a means of processing their painful journey? When you’re young you naturally do this, which is the story of House of Dreams, with some goblins and ghosts along the way.”

HOUSE OF DREAMS, a comic for children and adults alike, is available on Kickstarter until October 23, 2022. Along with the comic, they’re also offering limited edition variant covers and other merchandise for collecting.
