MUNICH – June 9, 2014 – Maya the Doberfrau launches live on Indiegogo. She’s ready to meet photography and dog lovers all around the world.
Of course this is a team effort with many years of marketing and creative experience to help her succeed. Claudia Bacco and Gülay Topal bring to Doberfrau a wealth of industry experience.
Claudia spent her career marketing tech companies but always felt she couldn’t use her full creative skills. Having worked to make other people’s companies successful, it’s time to do something that is my own. She’s passionate about dogs – specifically Dobermans, living in Munich and everything artistic.
Gülay has worked with many startups to create their visual identities. Her passion is all about art and design in every format. Recently her focus has been on fashion campaigns. She thrives on working with the energy of entrepreneurs. And now it’s time to be an entrepreneur herself.
Doberfrau is a modern artistic view of the world of dogs focused on the Dobermann breed. And a celebration of the life dogs can lead in Munich. The Doberfrau lifestyle is viewed through the photographer’s lens.
Start small and be successful. Initially we will offer pop art postcards, T-shirts and calendars. The initial launch series includes homage to Andy Warhol and two new series per month are launching throughout 2014. And the plan is to add Doberfrau branded merchandise throughout the second half of the year – gourmet dog treats, custom leather collars and Doberfrau/man-worthy toys.
