Overland Park, KS – On July 25 2015, Music Studio Destiny plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for a better music production studio; one that will give the ambitious five person company more room to grow.
“Born with a severe bone condition called McCune Albright Syndrome, I have always tried to turn my situation into something good,” says the founder, Shane L. Naster, “In 2009 during the recession I went out of state to college. After graduation I was unable to find work. So as any proud American with respect for those before me, on all my own merit I started a business.”
At nine months old Naster was diagnosed with a rare genetic growth disorder that causes fragile, broken, and deformed bones, short stature, and skin discoloration. In high school he played the drums and electric guitar, but often had to deal with surgeries and broken bones. He continued to follow his passion for music after high school, and became certified in music recording and production. Moving home and never giving up, Naster saved money to start his own company.
“Mixnaster is well positioned to overcome challenges after completion of the project … Currently we are partnering with the KC Jazz Ambassadors Organization and other societies. To continue doing this, we need to allow the studio to work in the best area possible,” Naster explains, “We have determined that this location should be closer to the music scene; nearby clubs, venues, and most importantly, closer the musicians themselves. This will allow us to offer music, voiceover and advertisement recording to businesses and bands in the growing parts of Kansas City.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including a range of music or non-music related items, and the chance to have the founder speak about a topic of your choice at an event.
