Angry Squirrel Studio Launches Kickstarter Campaign for 182 Decal Dogs Car Window Decals. Every Dog Has Its Decal!
Feb. 17, 2015 – Angry Squirrel Studio launched its 30 day-long Decal Dogs Kickstarter campaign on Feb. 17 for Decal Dogs car window decals. www.kickstarter.com
The Decal Dogs Car Window Decals include 182 different American Kennel Club dog breeds measuring 4 inches by 6 inches. The decals are easy to install on the outside of a car window. The decal has a thick white outline with a transparent background so it looks sharp and clearly visible on your car window. All of the illustrations used to create the Decal Dogs were hand drawn by Jen Sebastian, the Angry Squirrel Studio’s Chief Creative Nut, using pencil and black ink on white paper then scanned into the computer and cleaned up in Adobe Illustrator.
“Decal Dogs all started when I drew a doodle of my dog Scout. That led to me drawing 182 dog breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club. As I was going through this process, the No. 1 question I got asked was, ‘Do you have a drawing of my dog?’ And now I’m proud to say I do … 182 different dog breeds, to be exact, ” said Sebastian, the artist and Decal Dogs Kickstarter Campaign creator.
The campaign’s $15,000 fundraising goal will allow Sebastian and Angry Squirrel Studio to professionally print 182 different Decal Dogs resulting in 3,500 car window decals as well as the packaging and shipping of the rewards.
The rewards are simple: Give some money; get a decal. Each pledge amount scores the backer a Decal Dog car window sticker. Depending on the pledge level, the backer can get one or multiple Decal Dogs at a discounted price from the final retail price of $10. There are backer rewards ranging from $1 to $2,000.
