PointSeventyFive launches a handmade accessory on Kickstarter that features a cute paper crane smaller than half of a penny.

Boston, MA—May, 2014 — PointSeventyFive is offering a new handmade design on Kickstarter: small glass message bottles each have a small paper crane instead of a letter. This design transforms a paper crane into a versatile ornament for decoration, necklace, Christmas trees, etc. The project is available on www.kickstarter.com for 30 days, and the rewards are limited in quantity.

Inspired by the brand name, the product features a small glass bottle with a diameter of 0.75 inch with a cork stopper. The enclosed paper crane is hand folded by the artists in the studio from a small piece of paper measuring 0.75 inch by 0.75 inch. The result is a petite ornament small enough for use as earrings.

To be used as various types of accessories such as a necklace, key chain, aquarium decoration, etc. each bottled crane comes with a metal ring that secures itself firmly in the cork stopper. A slick carrying purse is also included, which makes if for a great gift packaging.

The paper cranes are available in three colors: white, blue, and pink. Each unit is sequentially numbered, and includes a hand signed certificate which adds authenticity. The reward is limited in quantity, and the sequential numbering further incentivizes purchasing an earlier series. Consequently, the Kickstarter campaign fulfilled 19% of its goal within the first 4 hours of launch. The project will last 30 days until June 14th, 2014.

PointSeventyFive is an art studio based out of Concord, Massachusetts, USA. PointSeventyFive has produced many works in the area of tiny paper cranes, and are known for their simple designs. After experiencing the challenges of maintaining small paper art safe from damages, PointSeventyFive has recently pursued a new design that solves this issue.
