What is Cushy Closer?
The Original Cushy Closer Door Cushion is an innovative product that:
-Allows for quiet entry and exit without turning the knob or handle
-Helps parents and caregivers avoid waking sleeping children
-Snug-fit design helps muffle door sounds including: slamming, rattling and closing
-Prevents children and pets from being able to lock themselves in or out of rooms
As two moms with 9 children, combined, we just wanted a little quiet! The Cushy Closer Door Cushion was developed to allow us to check on our children without waking them up. The Cushy Closer quickly went beyond just being a baby product to include uses for child and pet safety, garage-to-house doors, bedrooms/bathrooms, office doors, day spas, classroom doors, and traveling/visits to friends and family.
Where we’ve been
We have worked hard over the last six years producing, packaging, and shipping our original product, worldwide, while raising our families and working multiple jobs. In the past year we have focused on the branding and marketing of our Cushy Closers which has made it highly recognizable and has increased demand for our product. Since doing our first trade show in June, we have had an increase in our online presence through additional e-commerce vendors, as well as additional brick and mortar store accounts.
Our product’s popularity is now exceeding our inventory capabilities! With our current growth, we must move from a two-mom operation (product development, production, marketing, printing and packaging, shipping, etc.), to enlisting others to help in these areas. With a large trade show quickly approaching in the fall, your contributions will help us meet current and pending large-scale production requests, as well as help us prepare for the expected volume of orders during and after the trade show.
What We Need

-Production (including quotes, samples, 1st production run)
-Materials to fulfill current and pending production
-Legal fees and incorporation
-Trade Show fees
