Ottawa, Ontario — The CryptoKey offers a solution to the biggest safety risks for sensitive personal and corporate information, weak passwords and unencrypted offline storage options. Forward Security Solutions, a burgeoning Canadian tech company, has developed this fingerprint-scanning USB that is making security threats like stolen information or compromised accounts a thing of the past. This device is especially unique in that, with all of its impressive features of functionality, no detail was lost in regards to form. The state-of-the-art biometric sensor and federally adopted AES encrypted password and file manager are wrapped up into a beautifully constructed aerospace grade aluminium shell with a braided, genuine leather covered cable.
Its intuitive design makes it simple for those of any technology skill level to use. After the high-speed, 3.0 USB is plugged into any Windows, Mac, PC, or Notebook, and the owner’s fingerprint has been verified, up to 10 passwords are entered automatically. When it is no longer necessary to keep up with multiple passwords from memory, it is much easier to implement ones that are more complex and, in turn, harder to hack. It also comes with 32GB of storage and can be divided into public and private partitions, allowing up to 10 people to share the same USB.

The CryptoKey, their debut product, has been in development since November 2015. After several prototypes and vigorous testing, the design and specifications have been finalized. It’s scheduled to hit the market in December of 2016.
