CRUSHMETRIC is a company founded in 2020 by American artist and inventor, Noah Deledda, and Singaporean Entrepreneur, Michael Ong. The company’s objective is to develop and produce a catalog of products that integrate Deledda’s innovative art, design and invention. At the core of CRUSHMETRIC’s product line are their unique shape changing surfaces, what Deledda calls “Dynamic structures”.
CRUSHMETRIC’s introductory product is launching in late July, 2021 through a crowdfunded presales campaign on Indigogo.com. This product is a unique version of a retractable ballpoint pen.
The CRUSHMETRIC SwitchPen, featuring a surface that changes shape by flipping a switch, which also extends the pen tip to its writing position.
What’s next for CRUSHMETRIC?
The CRUSHMETRIC SwitchPen is the company’s initial offering but it is also a sneak peek to their future plans. The CRUSHMETRIC team has been working to develop several products since research began in 2018, the SwitchPen is the first of many products to come.
Deledda is unveiling new sculptural works to correspond with the launch of CRUSHMETRIC.
These sculptures will take his art to the next level of scale and complexity. These new works are based on his internationally acclaimed aluminum can sculptures which he dents and forms by hand.

Hello my name is Noah Deledda, I’m an artist and I’m known for denting aluminum cans. I have an announcement about my art that I’m really excited to share with you. So, A while back I made this video and it got a huge response online. Out of all the commenters there was this one guy who was like “Hey, that’s awesome; it would be really cool if you could do something like that, but for real.” And honestly, it hadn’t even crossed my mind but it did get me thinking. So, I got to work and now I’m pleased to present my first large scale sculpture with dynamic structure.
Developing this next step in my art also lead to an invention. Which is why I’m happy to announce the launch of my new company called CRUSHMETRIC and our first product, the CRUSHMETRIC SwitchPen.
