CrowdRabbit’s mission is to help connect investors with crowdfunding opportunities across all types and platforms, making it easy to for people to find projects that suit their needs. CrowdRabbit is run by a team of commercial real estate, financial services, and entrepreneurship experts.

The company is headed by CEO Rob Finlay, a specialist in capital markets and commercial real estate. For those who spend a lot of time browsing on different crowdfunding sites, this might be a future one-stop-shop for all your crowdfunding needs. Finlay has explained why he thinks this new service will be useful:

“As crowdfunding becomes more and more popular, we’ve seen the need for better tools for all parties involved, including investors, project creators and others, who frequently take to the Internet to source or promote investment opportunities. We knew we wanted to create a solution that would bridge the gap between investors and entrepreneurs. CrowdRabbit accomplishes this goal.”

The site will feature reward-based campaigns as well as equity, debt, and donation. You can also search by category, status, number of backers, investment amount, and location when using the engine, as well as an option to save your search. Sorting can be done by newest, most funded, and ending soon. Crowdfunding sites can fill out a quick application to have their projects included in CrowdRabbit’s sourcing, tracking, and monitoring services.

This service looks like a win-win for all parties involved. Investors (and backers) can find projects they like, entrepreneurs are connected with funds and get more exposure, and draw people to new crowdfunding platforms.

Many services have popped up to support the crowdfunding industry, and some old ones have had to adapt to it. So far a few different crowdfunding search engines have popped up but none really stand out or cover quite as large a scope that CrowdRabbit aims to do. Crowdfunding4All is likely their biggest competitor; they launched a little over a year ago and have about 183K projects featured on their site.

CrowdRabbit

Currently CrowdRabbit is encouraging those who check out their platform to sign up for email updates as they continue to work on features that will make searching and tracking crowdfunding campaigns easier including watch lists and more:

“Our goal is to become the leading directory for all who are enthusiastic about the future that crowdfunding has to offer us as entrepreneurs, investors and innovators,” said Finlay. “We’re bringing a powerful tool to the crowdfunding community, and we can’t wait to see people benefit from CrowdRabbit’s unique features.”

They also offer services that enable creators and platforms to get started, affecting the whole crowdfunding process. These include a resource center that has a blog, crowdfunding 101, information for investors, information on raising capital, and on running a crowdfunding platform. CrowdRabbit may soon become a go-to service to use when looking for crowdfunding projects by exposing investors to new opportunities and platforms, and making their searches easier and more enjoyable.
