Crowd Brewing Company would be the first crowd run brewery, seeing its business owners handing control of decisions from what style of beer to brew all the way through the process to how it is packaged and marketed, over to an online community. Taking what it means to be a crowd-funded business to the next level.

Although located in Lincoln, England, the online community will have 24/7 access to all the breweries information as well as live video streams of all areas of the brewery so they can engage with brewery no matter where they are in the world and be in the best position possible to make the decisions that will ultimately decide the success or failure of a Real World Business. This network of cameras and wealth of information with give unparalleled access to the world of craft brewing allowing backers to be involved and understand each step in the process and watch their creation being made from grain to glass. Then when you see the beers, on tap in a pub or in bottles on a shelf, know that you made that happen.

The project has been 2 years in the planning and has already financed the building of a 15BBL (approx. 2500L) Brewery and fermentation vessels. Now the Crowd Brewing team have turned to crowd-funding site Indiegogo for the last round of funding. They need to raise £50,000 in 35 days in order to make the project a reality. This is an all or nothing funding meaning that if the target is not reached by the deadline the project receives none of the funds and those that have contributed to the project have their money returned.

As a reward for backing the campaign contributors can receive a whole host of perks from membership to the crowd to play your part in running the brewery to a whole weekend at the brewery creating your own beer.
