Brooklyn, New York – For cord hoarders everywhere! Keep cables & extension cords organized and brighten up your walls!

Are you surrounded by piles of extension cords and charging cables? Are you sick of tripping over them? Every day we use numerous electronic devices, such as cell phones, laptops, cameras, power tools, hair dryers, etc. Our dependence on electrical equipment makes managing cables, chargers, and extension cords a real headache. Konrad Giersz, a Brooklyn based product designer has come up with an innovative and fun solution to the problem: the Corder.

A simple add-on to your regular outlet cover, The Corder is a multi-functional outlet organizer that can easily be installed on any American outlet/light switch. The Corder not only serves to organize messy piles of cords, but also creates a convenient shelf for charging your phone or hanging your keys

If this sounds like something you could use in your life, then you should visit The Corder Kickstarter campaign!

With the Corder on your wall you will always know where the charger is. You finally will not trip over the extension cord because it will be neatly wrapped around your outlet. Oh yeah, have you ever had to leave your phone charging on the floor because the charger cable wouldn’t reach the nearest table? Well, that will not longer be an issue! Simply plug in your phone and rest it safely on top of the Corder.  The Corder is also usable on light switches to create an extra storage hook.

“A smart, fun, and innovative product that has a place in households everywhere! I love that fun color options are provided in addition to less conspicuous options.  I cannot wait to try it! Well done!”

“The Corder is about solving the problem of messy cables in the simplest possible way. It organizes them right at their source – the electrical outlet. It is universal, versatile and does not require any additional hardware. At the same time I wanted to be fun and pleasant to look at.” Konrad Giersz, Corder’s designer.

Not only is the Corder highly functional, but it also brings a fresh pop of color to otherwise boring walls. Make the spaces you inhabit more fun and add a graphic statement with these three bright colors: orange, pink, and green. For those that do not want it to distract from decor, there is a white option. For the especially bold, the Corder is also available in black. All options look great!

The Corder project launched on Kickstarter on October 23rd and is running until the end of November. Starting pledge is only $9 which gets backers one Corder outlet organizer shipped anywhere within continental United States.

These are going to be a staple in everyone’s home! Great design!
