Have You or Someone You Know Ever Been Through a Breakup or Divorce?
…Thinking About a Breakup Now?
No matter how a breakup plays out, everyone hates to go through them. Losing your relationship is often filled with heartache and pain.
As we’re sure you know, breaking up with someone is truly a social event. It effects you, them, family and friends. Quite frequently, your inner circle knows of your breakup intentions before your significant other does. Often times, breakups may include a wee bit of public drama. Like you’ve never experienced any of that before…right?
And what was once considered taboo in the relationship arena, has now become more commonplace and accepted in today’s electronically connected society.
What are we talking about you ask?
Seriously???
Historically, there was an assumed social decorum and respect for one another. Have you noticed this is no longer the case? So have we. Have you ever wondered why the change? We have. Is it convenience of the digital age? A breakdown of certain aspects within our social moral fabric?

Often times, we find it easier to hide behind our computers and smart phones than to address our relationship problems head-on in a face-to-face situation. Is this a good thing or bad? We’ll leave it up to you to decide. We just want to ask the questions.
- What are the social dynamics driving this phenomenon when it comes to ending a relationship in such an abrupt and often surprising fashion?
- Why do most couples break up?
- Is infidelity as prevalent as I might assume?
- How likely is it for my “soul mate” to cheat and what are the signs I should watch out for?
- How does my inner circle of friends and family influence the breakup process?
- And how might a bad breakup experience effect me in future relationships?
We hope to answer those questions and more in the upcoming months with your help.
We’re conducting a social relationship breakupĀ Survey on Facebook through the end of summer 2013 and will compile the statistics as well as the choicest breakup action from our hottest Dirty Deeds into a book aptly titled:
