Now introducing Class Struggle Clothing! We are producing clothing that is ethically made in Canada with a name that will try to help raise awareness of unfair and unsafe working conditions worldwide.

Class Struggle Clothing was started with the idea of trying to provide people with casual apparel that they can feel good about wearing. Our garments are manufactured by Jerico in Toronto, Ontario. Jerico takes pride in treating their employees as they should be treated, like human beings. A local artisan in Calgary, Alberta is bringing our designs to life on a state of the art silk screen printer. We hope that through our name and logos the public will become aware and educated as to what the idea of “class struggle” is and help make people think about how their consumer choices affect other people’s quality of life.

We are asking for $27,000 to build a modest starting inventory, help promote the brand, pay for storage of our goods, and to fairly reimburse all the artists who have made or will be making contributions to Class Struggle Clothing getting off the ground. To thank you for your support we will be offering your choice of our five designs on either a t-shirt or a hooded sweatshirt depending on the level of your contribution. We think the designs are pretty cool and hope you will too!

Even if we fall a bit short of our goal of raising $27,000, Class Struggle will still be making a serious effort to pursue our vision. Our projected starting inventory may have to be reduced in the event that our goal is not reached, but you can rest assured we will still make a go of it! After the campaign is over, we’ll send you a personal email so you can select the size, colour and design you want. We’ll also keep you updated as to when you will receive your perk!

The Impact

Not only will you get a really cool t-shirt or hoodie for your contribution to Class Struggle Clothing’s Indiegogo campaign, you will also be helping to kickstart a company that is focused on improving the work environments that clothing is manufactured in. We know that buying from socially conscious manufacturers like Jerico is a good start, but eventually we want to use our profits to expand Class Struggle Clothing to have our own facilities in nations where people experience unfair and unsafe working conditions. We want everyone involve to be reimbursed fairly for their contributions. We hope you can get behind our brand and support a good cause that has the potential to really make a difference worldwide!
