CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA – July 28, 2014 – Sweet Lulu’s Bakery On Wheels launches Kickstarter campaign to become the area’s only mason jar mobile bakery. However, unlike most traditional food trucks, Sweet Lulu’s Bakery will be renovating a vintage pick-up truck and kitschy trailer as it’s more in-line with Southern culture.

The bakery will serve Southern favorites like red velvet cupcakes and their signature Wonder Woman cupcake; a chocolate cupcake with peanut better French buttercream frosting topped with roasted peanut and pretzels and topped with ganache inside mason jars.

Sweet Lulu’s has already receive support from NYTimes Best Selling Author and Good Morning America regular Tory Johnson in addition to Country Living Magazine calling Sweet Lulu’s Bakery On Wheels, “probably the best idea for a food truck ever.”

Sweet Lulu’s Bakery Kickstarter campaign has already raised 20% of their goal in their first few days. The bakery will have a Dessert & Beer Tasting Party on August 7 at Frothy Beard Brewery. Tickets to the dessert tasting are available as a Kickstarter contribution of $25 or more. The campaign runs through August 23, 2014 and is expected to reach their goal.
