Today, Overzealous Studios announces the launch of it’s newest Kickstarter project “Cavatina”. Cavatina is described as an episodic, comedic, rhythm based RPG where you travel the country solving mysteries. If fully funded, this game will bring a whole new element to the otherwise saturated RPG world by incorporating a rhythm based combat interface akin to Audacity or Guitar Hero.
Established singer, Kieran Strange (www.kieranstrange.com), has already signed up with Overzealous Studios to perform an all original soundtrack for the game’s first episode. Lead Programmer and Co-Designer Jason Killeen states, “We are not challenging ourselves to make a rhythm game that masquerades as an RPG. We are striving to make a quality RPG that incorporates rhythm to give players a whole new challenge in the genre.”
To make this project possible, Overzealous Studios is seeking to raise a minimum upstart of $25,000 from their Kickstarter at www.kickstarter.com.
