Milan, Italy – On August 16 2016, Giovanni Megla Wanis launched a Kickstarter campaign for Carlo Salvagni shoes, a new line of handmade shoes that are helping us rediscover the art of classic Italian shoemaking.

For this Kickstarter campaign, Carlo Salvagni shoes are available in three different styles and many different colors to suit any occasion in the life of the modern gentleman.

There’s the Aurelio Liscio, a classic dress shoe for meetings or special events. This shoe is made from Italian premium calf-leather with a 100% leather sole and distinguishing tassels. The Aurelio Liscio are made in brown tones also common in casual gentlemen wear.

The Settimo Severo is the redefined version of the classic tassel loafers, made with a contemporary and casual chic twist. This style is made using premium suede, handcrafted with a classic leather sole and a special braid drawing around the loafer.

The last style, the Vottoriano Nobile, is a relative of the escarping or pump. They are designed to amaze, with velvet smoking and standard black tie dress code appeal. With an eccentric English look, these shoes are perfect for formal events or elegance at home.

Now we need your help to raise €20,000 to bring these shoes to market.”

In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including one early bird pair of Carlo Salvagni shoes for €180, two pairs for as little as €360, and more. Backers can also pledge €570 for three pairs of shoes in the styles and colors of their choice or €1,440 for eight pairs.
