Norwich, CT – Locally-established clay jewelry business, Claynique Designs LLC, announces a Kickstarter campaign to revolutionize the standard for accessorizing affordably. Jewelry that isn’t made with precious stones and metals should be accessible, affordable, and durable. Our current standard for accessible accessories is both limited and costly.
Our current standard relies on cheaply-made, mass-produced pieces that break easily. However, there are other options. You can forgo the affordability factor and buy expensive costume jewelry that has a much higher mark-up than it legally should; or, you can forgo accessibility and opt for a designer from a crafting site to make a piece by hand. Unfortunately, crafting sites do not offer an innovative, built-in ordering system for custom accessories, and often rely on an endless back-and-forth with the designer. Ultimately, this leads to a lengthy waiting period for your custom accessory.
Claynique Designs thinks there is a better way. With your help, Claynique Designs is going to create an ordering system that gives consumers a straight-forward way to order custom accessories that will last the test of time. The user-friendly ordering system will give you hundreds of options for your custom piece(s) and even the option of uploading a picture of the outfit or item you are trying to match. Our expert designer(s) will custom-craft a piece that will be the perfect compliment. Additionally, the order turn around will only be a day (or two, if you prefer a shiny finish), and will be shipped right away.
Jewelry that isn’t made with precious stones and metals should also be affordable. A bracelet made with plastic “gems” and a metal that tarnishes shouldn’t cost 50 times the material and production costs. Polymer clay is fairly inexpensive and an experienced crafter doesn’t have to spend hours working on a single order. Claynique Designs wants to pass on these material and production cost savings to you, the consumer.
