Using new software to reduce administration costs Client Care Plus can pay above average wages for direct care employees. in addition to paying above average wages to direct care workers, Client Care Plus takes $2 from every billable hour and puts it into a fund exclusively used to pay incentives to direct care employees! We teach our employees to care by first caring for them… AND extensive training… Client Care Plus is dedicated to providing the best possible care to each and every single client and to do that we equip our direct care workers with more than 500% more training than is required by the PA Department of Health.
Right now in my local county alone there are dozens of caseworkers each with dozens of files on their desk. Those are people who need help right now and none can be found. Why? It’s not a lack of agencies but a lack of qualified and compassionate staff. The pay has historically been abysmal and hard for someone to take on as a primary source of income. Lets change that. It’s about time having a big heart can turn into a rewarding career.
Why the crowdfunding campaign? I had to leave my primary position ahead of time to avoid being in an expensive breach of a non competition clause. Something I was prepared for but life in the form of Covid through a curve ball and licensing wait times increased by double.
Client Care Plus is on the home stretch and has been licensed by the state of Pennsylvania as well as the PA Department of Health to operate but needs to complete the medicaid providers registration. A process that requires additional monthly expenses during the reported 3-6 month wait time in addition to a $500 application fee. This is where help is needed.
Why do we need medicaid registration? Everyone right now who needs help but can’t find it is relying on a form of medicaid or private insurance. Why because if you have cash in hand you can always find someone right? Well those without who rely on medicaid don’t have it. Medicaid typically pays less to an agency and often those cases are not prioritized the same. Lets fix that! By skipping over private pay cases and focusing on Medicaid and VA all cases will be treated as equal. Why? Because everyone deserves quality care when they need a hand.
I’m not a wordsmith I’m a lifetime caregiver with around 18 years of experience in helping others. From my early days of assisting therapists with traumatic brain injury patients, to developmental life skill assessment and goal development for persons with intellectual/physical disabilities, to my last position as a regional administrator for an agency much like Client Care Plus.
