With this beliefs Project Sigma, a new NON PROFIT, just launched its first Crowdfunding
Project Sigma is an eclectic Non Profit looking at the world in a holistic way, working on various aspect of environmental protection, scientific research technologies and charity projects aiding kids at risk, Veterans and animals.
Project Sigma is a newly incorporated Non Profit starting its first crowdfunding campaign in order to raise the start up money for logistics and to give a jump start to its first projects.
“We are working to bring to life our first projects” Says Lorenzo Masolini, the president “One scientific education project for kids at risk, one to aid Veterans in distress, and one to protect rhinos from poaching and extinction in Africa.”
We have many projects in our portfolio just waiting the time to go from paper to the real world, Projects like an independent Off Grid Energy System to power schools and small hospitals in Africa as well as independent long range vessels, Underwater exploration equipment like ROVs and Marine Gliders, and we are lucky enough to find the right funding, an interactive museum on marine exploration where hopefully kids will be inspired to discover our beautiful world.
The actual Crowdfunding campaign now running on Kickstarter is aiming at raising enough money to consolidate the leading staff, promote the existence of the organization and its programs and set the first projects on the starting line.
As a new non profit Project Sigma have to rely on donation to walk its first steps, reason why one of the first actions was to create a crowdfunding campaign.
Hopefully with the help of generous people the organization will be able to start working on its mission of bettering the word one project at a time.
