April 7, 2015 – Austin, TX – Box Fort Games LLC, a husband and wife game studio has launched their Kickstarter campaign for their new game Bowbarian. Inspired by Saturday morning cartoons and story-driven gaming, Bowbarian is a 2D Top Down Story-Driven Action game about shooting, stomping and BOW-BLITERING monsters.
The nefarious wizard The Great Bazzini has stolen the Lunaria from its guardian, using the relic’s power to transform the mighty protector into an adorable and completely harmless fuzzball. Luckily for the transformed Tiny, BOWBARIAN has a soft spot for cuddly woodland creatures. The two jump into action–literally!–chasing Bazzini into the long unexplored regions of Rhona. The biggest adventure of their lives starts now!

After seven years in the game industry, Jeremy Jorgensen began Box Fort Games with his wife Heather who contributes her visual storytelling experience to crafting Bowbarian’s distinct characters, story and world. They are collaborating with Karen Bennetzen–a Danish artist who has worked with Daedalic Entertainment and on the notable animation, The Reward including its successfully Kickstarted sequel – Tales of Alethrion.
