Book – We Need Your Financial Help!

We need your financial support. We need it to bring this project to life. We are very grateful over the years for the massive support on social media, and personal interest in the project, but it is now time to get the book printed. And this is where you come in. The time is running down on the campaign time slot, so we need to ask you to give as soon as possible. Not only will this get us to our target, but also start the process of helping these charities with their work.

Over the past two years we have created a collaboration of 111 artists and illustrators from around the world and brought them together, to form the Creative Pet Project (http://bit.ly/LdUeYE). Out intent is to create a unique and beautiful book. But a book with a difference. We wanted the aim of this book to be raising fund to donate to animal charities. And for this reason the criteria of inclusion in the book was that they had companion animal, many rescue animals and at the same time included animals in their artwork. The book is now ready, and ready to print. We have launched the funding campaign at Indiegogo (igg.me/at/cpp-book), where the project feels confident in getting the money to make the book work, as well as continue this project to further volumes, but we need you.

The charities concerned in the book are planned at three per volume. The first volume has included PETA, IFAW and Born Free USA as the recipients of the money collected from sales. These charities are doing invaluable work for animals, the environment and education and deserve the support from us all. The talent in the book is endless. Many a well-known name in the areas of pop surrealism, lowbrow art, illustration and children’s book illustration have come together, because their goal and motive is the same; to help animals. To name a few, the project has world famous illustrator and painter Anita Kunz, world famous illustrator Yuko Shimizu, Ricardo Martinez Ortego, Heiidi Tailleferr, Tara McPherson, Martin Wittfooth, award winning illustrator, Jackie Morris, Chet Zar, Dilka Bear, John Brophy, Ana Bagayan, Chris Brett, Sas Christian, Brian Kesinger (of Teagirl fame) and Brandt Peters/Kathie Olivas participating.

INGREDIENTS 1 creative person, slightly matured 2 tablespoons aptitude 1 piece of aesthetic flavouring 6lbs hard work and sweat 4 ideas more than most salt of the earth to taste Take a creative person and stir in the aptitude thoroughly, from the start. In time, mix in the aesthetic flavouring with the most appropriate tool at hand, and then fold into the mix as much of the hard work and sweat that the mix can take. Sprinkle in the ideas. The more the better, and finally as all is cooking, a pinch of salt of the earth to give it the necessary character. Leave to cook over time and serve when required. Tasty treat in a tasteless world.
