Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a vampire? Well Blood Lust is a comic book that explores that question. We follow Odette on her first night back from the dead; as she awakens underground, in her coffin and must learn how to survive as a creature that needs human blood to survive. She is aided in this by the man she hates the most; Luciano the vampire that turned her. We also get to see what he had to do to ensure that Odette’s transformation took place and how he became a vampire.
Comic books combine my two passions Stories and Art; they also have the benefit that I can make them on my own. I don’t need a large corporation or a huge investment to get things rolling. I believe that if you produce quality work the project should find its market. I’ve already started work on a couple scripts each with their own identity and target demographics yet I’ve chosen to focus on Blood Lust; my take on the Vampire myth.
This Kickstarter campaign is for making the Blood Lust # 0: Origins issue. A full color debut comic book, 22 pages of sequential art and story plus a couple pages of extras all wrapped up in a pretty cover. If you like scary adventure comics this might be the book for you.
