Welcome to the world of BEYONDERS! A cyberpunk fantasy comic series set in an alternate universe: the Argi Lux System a dystopian land filled with samurai warriors, killer droids, and bio-enhanced people. The story we present offers an unstoppable roller coaster of action, drama, and thrilling character arcs, developed through pages with dynamic panels and amazing artwork. It has everything you would love in a story like this but also has katana fighting, inter-dimensional travels, aliens, and the path of Bushido. You know, all the good stuff.
BEYONDERS is a young adult indie comic about a squad of seven elite samurai on the hunt for a highly dangerous criminal known as the Vyper. This adventure will force them to travel through an alternate dimension and end up landing in today’s Latin America (Why? You’re going to find out!).
Our goal is to reimagine the cyberpunk genre by mixing our influences in narrative and aesthetics from Japanese manga and American comics. And also combining folklore and modernity, creating a complete and exciting narrative universe.
Our small team in Peru and Ecuador has been working on this project for almost two years, and we’re very excited to bring this vast new world to you in physical form for the first time!

Our story begins in 1853 of the New Era, the Great Galactic Empire of Argi Lux is about to lose everything in a dreadful war against the Valenkar, a mighty ancient alien civilization. In the middle of this mess, the most powerful weapon of the Empire is stolen by the mysterious terrorist Vyper.
Without any hesitation, the leader of this world: High General Bastian Jägersmann decides to assemble an assault squad to go after the enemy. Ryōga Kimura, a legendary samurai captain is chosen to lead the mission together with his elite team of warriors to retrieve the weapon in time and bring glory to the Empire.
This First Volume introduces us to captain Kimura’s team: Ulana Korsaroff, Goji Sadok, Kylen Wolfe, Hirondela Lélek, Seven, and Vasily Battō Kozlov. They are an uneven group of new talents and experienced warriors, who will have to put aside their differences and work as a team to complete the dangerous task and return safely to their dimension. Little did they suspect that this mission will make them question everything they know and change the course of their and our world forever.
BEYONDERS VOLUME ONE is the first in a 5-volume series of this cyberpunk dystopia.
