A fun apparel business collaboration between father and daughter, creating Beachwear and leisure wear for our online store and local market stall.
My Daughter (15) has always loved the beach. Even at her early age she has visited beaches in every state of our amazing country and also neighboring Indonesia.
Always one to care for the Environment, we were brainstorming ways we could create a business from which we could use profits aid causes helping local charities, people and the environment.
We came up with creating a business selling apparel we designed, both Beachwear and leisure wear.
I have had previous experience in apparel retail management and have manufacturing contacts both in Australia and Indonesia.
I am hoping this experience with give my daughter that entrepreneurial spark and enthusiasm required to succeed in business, as well as learning some valuable lessons and creating and running a start up company that will serve her well later in life.
While I understand creating cool T-Shirts is the easy part, we understand in a flooded market, creating an easy to use retail website that stands out, as well as the advertising required to cut through our competitors is not so easy. Our plans to solve both the problems is priced into our crowd funding target, as well as providing a fun reward for our backers.
