The Beka Art Project will be a community art center in Galeana, Morelos, Mexico.

In this small town and surrounding areas there are practically no recreational areas for children and teenagers. The public parks are old, abandoned and even dangerous. We also lack any type of art related programs and those few the pop up once in a while are expensive for the average household income.

The Beka art project aims to bring a new and fresh alternative by creating a safe haven for the arts. It will be a place for kids to develop their creativity with the proper tools they need all for free.
We’ll start with art classes after easter and continue throughout the year with ongoing classes and workshops all taught by experienced and professional artists.

We need your support to make this happen. Your contribution will help us buy furniture, art supplies, lab equipment and fix the place we have been allowed to use. Who knows if we get enough funds we might be able to buy our own place.
We appreciate any support we can get.
