There is a new Indiegogo project that aims to create an environment that puts people in a time of the ancient Roman empire.
To live the life as old Romans, you need to depend upon a horse, sail the sea and capture food on your own.
The campaign leader Ante says that living the life where you need to carry out on your own is making you aware of your possibilities as a human being.
He goes on and explains that it’s a feeling like you go into the arena as a gladiator, and in the night you go out of the arena as a new Cesar of a Roman Empire.
The campaign is located in Dalmatia, Croatia. Near the city of Trogir, in a village that was built by Roman Empire.
The concept of the campaign is to find the inner courage so people can determine their possibilities and talents that they can’t when they live in city hive going to a regular job.
As it occurs in Shakespeare’s play, ‘Julius Caesar’. ‘’Cowards die many times before their death, the valiant never taste of death but once’’
It’s a part of a speech by Caesar in reply to his wife Calpurnia’s warning that he should not move out of doors because some evil omens suggest some dangers to his life.
A coward remains in constant dread. His heart sinks when he hears of death. Fear is like a sword of Democles hanging over his head. His day starts with fear and ends with fear. Life becomes a constant fear for him. Even in a happy moment of life, he is afraid that these things would come to an end. Whenever he hears of some danger, he begins to tremble and he starts to panic. The idea of danger always occupies his mind and he lives under constant fear. He meets danger many times in his imagination and suffers all the terrors of hell. He has already surrender many times to fear, long before the danger was actually in place.
A brave man, on the contrary, maintains an attitude of defiance towards fear. He knows quite well that fear must come to one and all. If fear is inevitable, what is the use of grumbling and wasting time thinking about it? It is useless to pity oneself at the thought of danger. A brave man, even in the most adverse circumstances, displays courage. In any event, he is confident that danger can do no harm to him. At the most, it can kill his body and in that event, the spirit would remain behind. Death has undone so many but has death succeeded in killing the spirit or name of all? Those who died in a great cause, never die. They continue to live forever.
What has death done to Gandhi, Napoleon, Martin Luther King Jr., and so many other brave persons? Death could kill their bodies alone. Their spirits still live amongst us.
Even a mention of their names inspires us to face fear courageously when it comes.
If you want to check this campaign without any fear you can go to Indiegogo and donate to this cause. You can win 7 days of this unique experience by donating 5$.
