New game from first time creator Paul Templeman, launched on Kickstarter 06/15/21. Paul Templeman is going to Kickstarter to seek funding for his new game, Asator. Game lovers familiar with the battle mechanics of D&D and the strategy of chess will enjoy this miniature-based wargame that pits 30-unit armies against each other.
Asator will launch on Kickstarter with the game design and art completed; it’s ready to roll! The game has been years in development including multiple play test groups to ensure a uniquely fun gaming experience. The Kickstarter campaign will feature the game at $90 (retail will be $99), including free shipping to individuals in the US and VAT free shipping for backers in the UK and EU. We’ve worked out very reasonable bulk shipping rates to assist backers in other areas of the world. Shipping is anticipated to take place late January 2022.
About Asator:
Hearken back to the days of yore when Viking armies fought epic battles. The two most powerful leaders of the Northmen are now poised to strike each other. They fight for glory, they fight for their people, they fight for their land, and they fight for the honor of mighty Thor. The victor will claim their birthright from the Thunder God- the title of Asator, Master of War. Divine fury surges through the warriors as they join ranks with wood and steel. Thunder rolls and lightning streaks across the heavens; the war horns sound and the battle begins!
In Asator, you direct your 30-unit army comprised of the Master, the Wizard, the Chieftain, infantry, cavalry, bowmen, and your dragon. You will match strategy and skill against the opposing army in dice chucking combat, magic, and fiery dragon breath from above. To win the game, you must conquer the opposing forces by defeating their Master, Wizard, and Chieftain.
