Turn our arduino into an ISP programmer to burn boot-loaders and upload code to Attiny85, Attiny84, Atmega328, Atmega1624, Attiny4313..I have found the way to use ZIF Socket, for the project without incurring extra costs. Its will be the same size, will support the same chips and boards, same simple use, but now with amazing ZIF socket (no more bent pins).

I present to you an “arduino as isp shield”. It comes with the support for the most popular arduino chips like atmega 328, atmega1284 , attiny 84,85,4323 and bunch of other pin compatible chips. And the best part is that it’s the only isp shield that works with arduino uno, leonardo, mega, freeduino, freakduino …. You get the point.
It’s comes as fun solder yourself package, including step by step instructions. And it’s very easy to use: just upload the arduino as isp sketch (depending on what board you want to use) then place the desired chip on the shield and then click upload the sketch and your are finished. Now you can make your own arduino clones. Or shirk your project using various attiny chips, or maybe even unleash the power of atmega1284. Giving you almost as many pins as an arduino mega.
