Expansion to include low-cost vet clinic for community, child education center and more.

Huntley, IL— 10/30/18 — Animal House Shelter has plans to expand their current animal shelter to enable them to save over 5,000 animal’s lives each year.

“This has become an imminent need that we cannot overlook” said Lesley Irwin, Founder of Animal House Shelter.

Unprecedented Community Impact

Not only will many more animal’s lives be saved, but the local community will benefit from the shelter expansion. There will be a low-cost clinic, available for the public to make appointments for their animal’s to be spayed, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Also included in the expansion is a children’s education center, which will provide a dedicated space to accommodate all the children’s groups that already visit the shelter on a regular basis, as well as allow the shelter to host tours and educational programs.

Expanding Rescued Animal’s Living Space

This expansion will allow additional housing to increase the number of animals that can be saved, as well as expanded play space for the cats and dogs. Additional exercise yards, off leash yards and indoor exercise yards will be available as well. A virtual overview of the expansion and additional details are available at: www.animalhouseshelter.com.
