Help me please reach my goal, last push…
FINAL PUSH! As an American abroad, here in Europe, I am tired of the negativity towards the U.S. sure we are not perfect, but most other countries do and get away with a lot worse. maybe America “polices”, the world or tries to fix problems nobody else wants to, but still just bad press! Anyway I am an American here in Latvia trying to take care of my family’s ancestral homestead that we got back after the commies left and our country regained it’s independence.
I am a chef and have a food truck, from which I am trying to familiarize people with all the good eats that Americans already appreciate, from Burritos to Chicken&Waffles and much in between. The food truck craze has not gotten this far yet so I must open a regular walk-in joint so people can sample the best food we have to offeryear round. An American Restaurant in Europe! isn’t it supposed to be the other way around? Let’s win their hearts thru their stomachs, I have already started, giving my customers a chance to taste a real burger, Pizza like you get in Brooklyn (where I have lived) or like from Pinocchio’s in Harvard Sq. (where I have worked) and I even serve Chili! Since I have no work history that counts for anything to them here, I can not get the credit I need to take my place to the next level.
You hear how Americans are the most generous and giving people in the American media, well let’s show them here, anybody asks how I funded my place, I will say it came from other Americans just like me! Running out of time, so far from my goal, and the season is here, must start building a.s.a.p. please contribute now.
