Agenda: The Story of GY is a 96 page sci fi/fantasy graphic novel written and illustrated by me. I love drawing monsters and wanted to showcase some of my characters. The basic plot and many of the characters were created in college for one of my drawing classes. The hero GY dates back to 2007.

Agenda is a hero’s journey and it starts you, the reader, off in the middle of the action. I rather not give too much away so that you can experience it as GY will experience it. It is a standalone story but there is more material that I have already outlined so if this is well received then you’ll see a couple more stories of GY.

Here’s what I will tell you. There’s monsters, creatures, beasts, fighting, swords, kidnapping, and even more fighting.
Interior Page

The book will be in black and white. The pages are done in pencil, ink, marker and paint. Those familiar with my work know that I like to keep layering it on. Those pencil lines that you think I forgot to erase… I didn’t.

This is my second Kickstarter. I had a successful first run last year with The Art of Metal Hand 2013 Sketchbook. Once again I’m offering rewards such as original art and prints but this time I have custom Sugar Bears and Comic Book Collages to make things a little more fun

HOW THE MONEY WILL BE USED

Your support will allow me to have 500 trade paperbacks printed. I’m hoping to have these in time for C2E2 in April. Estimated cost is around $1700. The balance will go towards Kickstarter’s fee and shipping out all the rewards. In the case that there is extra funds, that will go into promotional items like posters, stickers, business cards etc.

Frazetta Inspired Painting

I’m currently holding a daily art giveaway on my Instagram to those that share my Kickstarter posts. Follow me to join in. The drawings that I’m giving away are from last month’s DCember challenge. Stop by and take a look.

Also you can follow my blog. Check out the live art shows and comic conventions that I have been a part of over the past couple of years. With your help, I’ll be able to promote this graphic novel this upcoming comic convention year. Thanks for looking. – Metal Hand
