A book to beautifully illustrate American culture and the journey to research and capture it.
The Project:
They say America is a melting pot. Many different cultures have come together over the course of our history to create one complex, multifaceted culture. My hope is to illustrate this culture and the complex flavors of it. What does it look like? What does it taste like? Is America really a melting pot?
The purpose of this project is to create a book. It will focus on stories and photos depicting American culture. I will be traveling to towns across the country with a wide range of interesting cultural highlights. Along the way, I’ll be updating my blog on my website using videos, photos, and stories. There will also be a live GPS tracker on the website so that you can follow along in the journey. The book will be made up of many photos from the journey, as well as the stories gathered along the way.
