Hello. I’m a currently unemployed teacher and needs your help.
In March 2020, I was a Sociology Teacher and a Curriculum Head/Staff at a local public school with a Christian female headmaster. Been about three years teaching there. School was good, people there were friendly, and I love my students so much. But my family, who is a hardcore Islam fanatic, found this out. They schemed in such a way I was blackmailed and fired from my school. Their reason was because they are afraid I would be converted to a Christian because the headmaster is a Christian female, and that they hate all religions except theirs.
Because of this, I struggled hard with my daily life and debts I need to cope. Debt collectors tailing my phone several times a day. My family won’t help with my financial struggles, let alone helping me find a new job, because for them, it was my ‘fault’ for teaching at a public school with a Christian female headmaster. To their eyes, I am a ‘heretic’ that should face the ‘punishment’ for my own actions. Even now, I hadn’t been so lucky to find a new job.
My goal is to raise about USD$800 to be able to pay all of my debts and basically survive until the end of 2020. If I manage to raise more than that, I plan to use the money when I become a teacher at a new school. I’m currently applying to many schools. In my previous school, I often use my personal money to help my students who came from unprivileged economic background, either for their school supplies, to buy textbooks for them, or even as simple as internet quota so they can browse the internet during my class. I plan to use the excess donation money for that purpose as well, in the new school.
