Ten Aces is a tactical TBS strategy game emphasizing on player’s strategic skill and insight.
Its core features are:
- – No random/ chance-based events (no critical, miss chance or anything similar)
- – Advanced balancing system allowing all players to fight in equal terms
- – Variety of playable units, abilities and combinations. The units and their abilities are secret until they are deployed or used accordingly
- – Emphasis on the player. The only advantage is his experience and insight
- – Best gaming experience is versus other players
- – Event-driven story and Permadeath on single player
We have launched our campaign on Kickstarter on the 12th of July 2013. Your help and support are essential for the completion of our game !
The Game
The game is about ten demigods (the Ten Aces) and their story. In the game you may play any of them as the leader of your army, along with other units.
In single player mode, the player explores the story of the Ten Aces. Each of the Aces will have his own campaign. All of them are unique and original, so that every player will find someone that expresses him. The result of every campaign will depend directly on the player’s decisions. Permadeath will affect both the player’s characters and the AI.
Multiplayer will be an important part of the game. Many modes and systems have been designed. Great emphasis has been placed in the balance between the players.
Artwork
The artwork of Ten Aces, as you will notice, is quite unique. The units in battle are designed with pixel art, reviving this feeling the old nice tactical games had. But both the pixel art and surrounding environment, have been designed in a certain way, in order to give the game a more “serious” look.
We wanted the characters to be realistic and original. This way the mature gameplay mechanics, the deep characters and the story all blend in, creating a unique gaming experience.
Information
The game is build for PC, Mac and Linux.On Kickstarter we are planning to release the game in other consoles as well(Psp,PS3,Xbox).
The price has not yet been set, since it is depended on the course of the crowd funding, but this is a possible scenario: The single player campaigns for each character will be sold independently and be regularly updated, while the multiplayer will be free for all.
The game will be released within 2013.
