The LUCI™, Advanced Lucid Dream Inducer has raised $304,078 CAD from 1,983 backers at the time of writing and still has 7 days left before the end of the 30 day crowdfunding campaign.
Described as “the world’s first lucid dream inducer that uses brainwaves for reliable REM sleep detection,” this project has captured the imagination of backers and rocketed past its $40,000 fundraising goal.
BlueFit Bottle
The BlueFit Bottle Indiegogo campaign has raised $74,733 at the time of writing with a $150,000 fundraising goal.
The idea is innovative – a water bottle that syncs with your phone and records your drinking habits – but unfortunately, it seems like with eight hours to go, this campaign won’t meet it’s fundraising goal.
BlueFit joins the growing trend of software interacting with the physical world. Personally, I hope they re-launch with a lower fundraising goal so the product can get made!
castAR: the most versatile AR & VR system
Even if you aren’t a fan of virtual reality, the castAR campaign is pretty cool. It takes interactive board games to a whole new level and really gives users the opportunity to play games with each other across the internet in a way that was only imagined before.
There are also countless other applications for architects, businessmen, and engineers. Having raised $739,234 with a $400,000 fundraising goal, castAR really lives up to the description: “bridging the physical world with the virtual worlds”
BiggiFi: Millions of apps, your choice, your life, right on your TV.
Described as a new way to “Enjoy apps on your TV using your smartphone,” BiggiFi has raised almost $8,000 in its first week, with 22 days to go.
BiggiFi is packaged with an exclusive and new multi-user SDK that opens new possibilities for games and apps. Rather than focusing on internet streaming like Chromecast, BiggiFi multi-function smart device just like your smartphone and tablet, but with a much bigger display.
NeoLev™ – Hoverboard Toy That Actually Levitates!
The geek inside me got excited about this Kickstarter project, having played with Tech Decks as a child and also being a big Back to the Future fan.
At the time of writing, the campaign has managed to raise $12,931 out of a $10,000 goal from 100 backers. It has 8 days to go before their 45 day fundraising period runs out.
