With the recession not long gone in most of the west, it is still felt everywhere no matter how much big economists convince us of growth in the economy and more jobs being created. One Govt. stimulus package after the other and we are still in a slump.

All of this is common news these days for most of us, but in another part of the world things didn’t change much at all. Global recession or Globalization none of these matter to the daily lives of ordinary people like Shah.

Being a Bangladeshi he claims that his life was already in recession long time ago or that he had hardly ever seen better days to talk about, born and raised in Kuwait by his parents who flew their country just after it gained independence in 1971.

Much to his parents surprise, labor and immigration laws in Kuwait turned ugly on expat workers already struggling to make a living and losing his father while he was in high school meant he would have to settle with work and study unlike his classmates studying in the best universities in the world.

Now this man is 36 years old, he is married and they have a baby girl but has decided to give up working odd jobs instead start studying again only with hopes this time around he can land a better job back home with a degree from a reputable US or European university.

Crowdfunding which has given hopes to many out there has led this man to be once more optimistic that he may be able to save his marriage, family and also build a new life.
