The self- published photobook with the photos taken around 24 countries in Asia and Europe in a Taiwanese girl’s 20s.
Weichia Ko named her first self- published photobook as “20s.20s” by the idea of travelling to 24 countries in her 20s. After graduated from the university in Taiwan, she started to travel around Asia and Europe. It continued more than 3 years since the day she left home. During the time staying in so many countries, she has visited so many great cathedrals, castles and been to lots of wonderful places. However, what impressed her most was the amazing people she met. Therefore, “20s.20s” is based on the amazing people she met.
The photos in “20s.20s” are not like those pictures in the fancy magazines, they’re just like someone passed by in our life. They are in our life, and waiting for us. She really enjoys the way to record the people and things in her life and traveling.
The photobook kept everyone in every moment she met with their particular stories. Therefore, in the photos, you can tell how did they feel by their expression and position. Even you can imagine a brand new stories for what you see from the photos!
And finally, Weichia Ko plans to release the photobook “20s.20s” as a limited edition in October 2016. And it would be distributed to online bookshops around the world. And probably release them on the physical bookstores in Taiwan and Japan next summer as well.
If you are interested in the photobook “20s.20s”, it would be a great opportunity to support this project by contributing, then you’ll get the postcards and a copy of the photobook with a thanks-handwritten card from Weichia Ko!
